Hello,
We are members of a group of parents, educators and community affiliates who have come together to form the Quest Academy Charter School of Montclair.  QACSM will be a public technology and arts charter high school that will give parents and students an educational alternative to what currently exists in Montclair.  Statistically, we know that educating today’s youth is more challenging than ever before.  Some students do well at navigating the hurdles, while others “fall through the cracks”.   For many reasons, large comprehensive schools are often unsuccessful at producing the kind of academic programs needed to reach all types of learners.   To combat some of those obstacles, our goal is to develop a small creative, technology-focused learning environment that would be supportive and stimulating enough to guarantee the kind of sustained engagement necessary to promote high achievement for every student who attends.  However, as you can probably guess, our effectiveness depends on relationships with the community.
